Lenel ILS offline and wireless locks were purpose-built with OnGuard integration in mind. Lenel ILS extends your security system’s reach by bringing traditional online access control functionality to electromechanical locks. ILS was developed with a modular design to enable a number of configurations to match your installation. Reader type, wireless connectivity, multiple handles, finishes, and chassis type are all user selectable options designed to meet your requirements.

Same credential, new lock. Regardless of the card type used within your facility, Lenel ILS was developed with a choice of reader technologies to fit into your current business model. Choose from:

• Magnetic stripe
• Proximity (125 KHz)
• Smart Card (13.56 MHz)

Wireless your way. Lenel ILS also provides the option of upgrading to wireless communications for your lock. Simply specify wireless when you purchase, or upgrade by adding a radio transmitter when the needs arise - and the lock receives all critical commands from the Lenel ILS Wireless Gateway.

Buy now, or upgrade later. When you install a Lenel ILS lock, users have the ability to choose now - or upgrade from one reader type to another, or from an offl ine to wireless solution. Simply pull the old reader, insert the new and your system
has been upgraded. Adding wireless connectivity is as easy. Simply pull the protective cover and add a wireless antenna. Plug, play, and join the network!

An Intelligent Solution. Unlike other solutions available, Lenel ILS offers decision making at the lock. Because ILS employs stand alone power and an intelligent on-board internal database, the system allows facilities to continue operation
and secure rooms even in emergencies - for up to 5,000 cardholders. ILS continues to operate, grant or deny access, and perform even when network connectivity is lost.
