OnGuard ID CredentialCenter provides user-friendly, one-stop enrollment, encoding and printing of credentials for the thousands of students, faculty and staff who enroll at the same time. OnGuard’s flexibility allows easy information updates as students change their status or graduate. Visitors can also be managed centrally using OnGuard Visitor. OnGuard supports inline smart card encoding to streamline credential production, a feature very much appreciated during peak enrollment times.
Seamless Integration
OnGuard seamlessly integrates with fire alarm, intrusion detection, paging, fault tolerant and disaster recovery systems to provide a comprehensive security solution. In addition, OnGuard seamlessly integrates physical and logical access. As a new student or faculty staff member is added to the OnGuard system, the person’s Windows Active Directory account is automatically updated. A network logon account is activated at the same time that an ID badge is issued. This feature greatly improves efficiency and reduces administrative work within the IT department. OnGuard can integrate not only with the existing security infrastructure, but goes further to integrate with other systems important to an educational environment, including student record databases, library systems, catering systems, human resources and finance systems.
