Lenel Names New Engineering VP

ROCHESTER, NY, Oct. 19, 2007 — Lenel Systems International announced today that John Marchioli has been named vice president of engineering. Marchioli will lead Lenel’s product development efforts, expanding the company’s technology and applications into new opportunities, with a focus on providing better security solutions to its customers. Functionally, he will oversee Lenel’s product management, software development, quality assurance, documentation and information technology teams.

Marchioli has 20 years of experience in the computer industry. He joined Lenel in 1991 as a software engineer specializing in database systems. Since then he has held positions of increasing responsibility, and most recently served as Lenel’s director of software development. He has been a key contributor to the company’s growth and success, and played a significant role in the development of the patented OnGuard Enterprise product. Marchioli earned a B.S. degree in Computer Science from the Rochester Institute of Technology in upstate New York.
