Lenel Announces Plans to Enter into an Alliance with Panasonic

 

ROCHESTER, NY AND SECAUCUS, NJ − September 19, 2011 – Lenel Systems International today announced plans to enter into an alliance with Panasonic System Networks Company which will provide additional choice to Lenel customers seeking a single source for seamless end-to-end video surveillance solutions. This alliance will leverage the Lenel open architecture design, ensuring the full integration of Panasonic’s latest i-PRO SmartHD cameras with Lenel’s industry-leading OnGuard® and LNVR software platforms. Lenel will add Panasonic IP surveillance cameras to the Lenel pricebook. Lenel is a business of UTC Fire & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp (NYSE:UTX).

Additional vandal-resistant, PTZ and weather-resistant Panasonic camera models will be compatible with Lenel’s OnGuard and LNVR in the near future.
