The solution is operated and monitored by a centralized and integrated software platform, providing the system administrator with a simple solution for managing the access control requirements of the business. In combination with the KABA evolo Alliance, all access levels, online and standalone readers are administered within OnGuard providing a unique tool for managing the safety, security and operation of both the organization and its employees. Reports on events, transactions and alarms are presented in the same way as any other event within the OnGuard Alarm Monitoring.
The integration supports:
- The KABA readers are configured in OnGuard as DataConduIT devices.
- The access levels for the readers are empty and include name only. They are imported from KABA.
- The KABA lock checks for badge credentials – badge status, access levels assigned to the badge, and timezone. The timezone of the access level is set on the KABA exos tool.
- Access granted/denied events are sent to OnGuard and will show under the readers, which are configured as DataConduIT devices
