OnGuard users will be able to synchronize their OnGuard user names, email, and credential with Proxy Mobile Access, enabling Proxy to work with their LenelS2 OnGuard System. Once installed, users will be able to add users, remove access, change access levels all from their OnGuard system, and will be automatically synced with their Proxy mobile access.
Our connector software on the initial run will retrieve this information from OnGuard and send the information to Proxy. The connector will then periodically check the OnGuard system for any changes in cardholders or credentials such as:
- New cardholders or removed cardholders
- Cardholder detail changes such as name
- New, removed or changed credentials
- Any status changes on cardholders and credentials
It is important to note that for changes in statuses or credentials that Proxy does not determine if the user has access Proxy only allows the submission of credentials to OnGuard which determines if the user has access or not. We use the status changes to provide a nicer user experience for the cardholder users.
We intend for the Proxy Connector service to retrieve the above stated information using the OnGuard OpenAccess API. The connector should have access to the OnGuard instances Open Access API and be authorized to make requests to it.
- Unlock doors using the Proxy Mobile app
- Continue using existing key card credentials to unlock doors
- Synchronize OnGuard cardholder information to the Proxy System.
